About the project
AI systems that handle phone calls need to learn from real voices, including the way English actually sounds in Taiwan. That's what this project captures.
You'll receive a short customer-service role-play script, call a dedicated recording line, enter your speaker ID, and act out one side of the conversation (customer or service agent) in a natural, conversational tone. Everything is simulated: no real banks, no real customers, no real data. Recordings are used solely for AI training and research.
What you'll do
- Review a short role-play script before your session
- Call the provided phone number and enter your assigned speaker ID
- Perform one role per call: customer or service agent
- Speak clearly and naturally; small ad-libs that make it sound human are encouraged
- Total time: roughly 30 minutes
Who we're looking for
- Fluent English speakers currently located in Taiwan
- A natural Taiwanese English accent is preferred: that's the point, not a problem
- Comfortable performing conversational role-play

- A quiet environment and a stable phone connection
- No headphones or audio-enhancement devices during recording
- Ability to follow the provided script while keeping it natural
