Joining ConsultBae Gigs
What is ConsultBae Gigs?
ConsultBae Gigs is where freelancers and vendors find paid AI data collection and annotation projects run by ConsultBae. The work includes recording audio, capturing images and video, writing and labelling text, and checking data for quality.
How do I sign up?
Choose Sign up, pick Freelancer if you work alone or Vendor if you represent a company or a team, and complete your profile. You can use your email address, Google or Discord. If you sign up with email, confirm your address from the link we send you.
Does someone have to approve my account before I can apply?
No. Freelancer and vendor accounts are ready to use as soon as you sign up and complete your profile. What gets reviewed is each application you make to a project.
What are the different roles?
Freelancers are individual contributors. Vendors are companies or agencies that supply a team. ConsultBae staff manage the projects, applications and payouts.
What skills do I need?
It depends on the project. Some need a native speaker of a particular language, some need careful labelling, and some need a specific device. Every project lists its requirements before you apply.
What devices do I need?
Most projects work with a smartphone or a laptop and a stable internet connection. Audio projects need a good microphone and video projects a working camera. Each project lists the devices it requires.
Finding work and getting paid
What types of projects are available?
Collection and annotation projects across text, images, audio and video: recording speech, taking photos and video, transcribing, labelling and classifying. Open projects are listed on the home page and, once you sign in, on your Projects page.
How do I apply, and how are projects assigned?
Open a project and apply. Our team reviews each application against the project's requirements and adds approved contributors to its roster. Project managers can also invite you directly, so check your Invitations page.
Can I work on more than one project?
Yes. You can work on several projects at once, as long as you can meet each one's deadlines and quality standard.
Which languages can I work in?
You can add any of more than 100 languages to your profile. Each project lists the languages it needs.
How long do projects last?
From a few days to several months. Each project shows its schedule when its dates are set.
Is there a minimum time commitment?
There is no minimum across the platform. Each project's brief says what it expects, so read it before you apply.
What happens if I can't finish a project?
Tell your project manager as soon as you know, so the work can be reassigned. Leaving without notice can count against you when we select people for later projects.
How do I get paid?
You are paid for work that is completed and passes its quality check. We pay by PayPal, UPI, bank transfer, Payoneer, Wise, Upwork and Fiverr. Choose the method you prefer in your profile, and your project manager confirms the payout details for each project.
Your account, your data and support
How do I update my profile?
Open Profile from the account menu, choose Edit on the section you want to change, and save it. Keeping your languages, skills and devices current helps us match you with the right projects.
How is my data used and protected?
We use your information to run the platform: your account, project matching, applications and payouts. We do not sell it or use it for third-party advertising, and access to it is limited by role. The Privacy Policy sets out what we collect, who we share it with and your choices.
Can I refer friends?
Yes, you are welcome to share ConsultBae Gigs with friends and colleagues. There is no referral reward at the moment.
